Work Kamping in Cranbrook

April 15th--Hello from Cranbrook B.C. We arrived yesterday and got settled into our campsite at Mount Baker R.V. Park. The park is situated in downtown Cranbrook and is a short walk to grocery stores and restaurants. We were able to avoid snow on our trip here from Vancouver Island. The road was bare over the Kootenay Pass,on the Salmo Creston highway, with snowbanks some 8 to 10 ft.high on the shoulders over the summit. A ominous reminder of how treacherous the road conditions can be.

When we live in B.C. we tend to take for granted what a beautiful province we have

The scenery here, driving pass our lakes and through our mountains, rivals and surpasses that seen anywhere in North America.
