Cayce and Jen in Toronto

We arrived in Toronto Oct 5th and have had a wonderful time visiting with Jen and Cayce. Jen rented a zipcar and took us on a tour of downtown Toronto and her apartment. After the drive we had a great dinner at swiss Chalet before returning to the RV where Jen stayed the night. Jenny met Cayce at the airport on Oct.17 where Cayce rented a car and they both came out to the Campground. After a catch-up visit we went out for dinner at Montana's -we're getting fat here.
Jen had to return to work in Toronto the following day leaving Cayce to stay with us while he attends a course in Markham-about an hours drive from where we are camped. This is our final day in Ontario as tomorrow Oct.22 we leave for Cayce's home in New Hampshire. The weather here has been-for the most part-wet and rainy. we look forward to heading south. Take good care and will blog when we reach New Hampshire.

Fernie to Swift Currant And Thunder Bay

After leaving Swift Currant we encountered very strong winds-50 to 80 k-that lasted for three hundred miles. The winds were so strong they made controlling the R.V. very difficult. Needless to say we took our time and as we entered Manitoba they had petered out. We are now in Thunder bay Onterio and staying in a R.V. park for a couple of days. This is the first chance we have had to answer e-mails and do a Blog Entry as it has been a problem to get wi-fi at the places we have stopped. Our cell phone battery has died--hope to get a new one in Thunder Bay tomarrow---Can be reached at ---ontheroadagain8@gmail.com. Take good care and will make another entry shortly.---Zero degrees this morning--hope the snow holds off till we head south

Extra food parking lot in Fernie B.C.-Every second day we freeload at shopping centers. Some of the places we have stayed for free are Walmart, overwaitea,Husky gas stations and Canadian tire

Rest stop on Alberta boarder--Nice Day

On The Road At Last!

Leaving Osooyos-you climb almost a mile up hill-spectacular views

The scenery going through British Columbia is awesome. We are planning on the Crows nest Pass route--Beautiful drive but going through the different mountain ranges is very hard on gas mileage

Sept.22--we are on our way. Heading for the Ferry in Nanaimo

Dale and Lynn's house in Campbell River where we stayed for almost three weeks tying up loose ends and waiting for our new computer to arrive. Getting used to living in the R.V.

Sept.1st--Finally after packing up,auction sales and putting stuff into storage we are out of our house and parked in Dale's Yard.
